The Imperial Seal (帝国宝印) is a pure golden seal bore by the Chiman Emperor. It’s the most precious of the crown jewels of the Chiman Emperor.
The seal was created when the first Chiman emperor Qi Shi Huang conquered all of the island-continent of Chima and crowned himself Emperor of the Qi dynasty of Chima. The seal was passed down all the way to the northern Xiong dynasty emperor Xiong Ai when Dominus travelled to Chira to search for the mysteries of the dragons. Dominus arrived during the decline of the Xiong and he used the discontent of the Chiman people against their Xiong rulers and overthrew the Xiong dynasty. Tiberius was proclaimed Emperor of the Ying Dynasty and left the empire to its own people to manage, while he returned to Reme to lead as Prime Citizen, while Chima became a personal side property of his. As Emperor he received the heirloom seal and was seen as receiving the heavenly mandate to rule all under Highrealm.
When the Reman empire fell, the Arlish empire took over and the seal too. Emperor Aethas took the seal and crowned himself Emperor of Pang. Aethas would see that governing two empires was too difficult and thus divided the imperium into two empires and gave them each to his two sons. Aereus kept the seal and did not cede it to his elder brother who was Emperor of Pang. This ended in the start of the War of the two emperors which resulted in the defeat of Arlia and the seal returning to Chima.
